Janne Hietala, Ceo, Kelluu
Janne Hietala is the CEO of Kelluu. Since joining in 2022, he has led the company’s strategic evolution into defence, critical infrastructure protection and environmental monitoring.
Prior to Kelluu, Janne held senior leadership roles at Valamis Group, where he helped shape company strategy and drive internal growth. He also founded and led companies of his own, giving first-hand experience in navigating early-stage growth, investment strategy, and product-market fit.
As an entrepreneur and technology leader, Janne’s experience spans more than two decades across enterprise software, deep tech and scalable services. Janne also holds an Executive MBA from London Business School, alongside advanced studies in corporate finance and real estate finance.
Since 2023, Janne has also served on the Management Board of the Digital Defence Ecosystem (DDE), promoting dual-use innovation and Finland’s role in global defence markets.
He drives Kelluu's expansion into defence and critical infrastructure, building the aerial data layer that gives Europe visibility where it matters most.
